Tim Resler

Today I want to step aside and introduce you a big friend of mine, who is definitely a noticeable music producer. And he’s the one doing those awesome Ableton Tutorials on YouTube. I’m sure you met some of those videos where popular tracks were recreated with standard plugins of Ableton. Well it’s time to get acquainted with those genius guy :)

A native of Russia, Timofey quickly became the top artist of Belgian clubbing scene. And it’s no wonder when you are obsessed with electronic music that much! He sleeps with Jazzmutant Lemur in his arms and he can bite you, whenever you interrupt his Ableton magic! Tim Resler is one of those guys who can make you dance just by tapping out a tune that’s on his mind! His first album “Breathing” was released under the name of Timofey. And it was a kind of experiment with blending various music styles such as Funk, Trip-hop, Jazz and Ambient to find his own sounding.

Currently, Tim Resler is doing live gigs around Europe and former motherland USSR. Apart from performing, he spends lonely nights in his studio doing some Voodoo Magic with his new tracks and remixes. Some latest collaborations were with Kylian Mash, Dave Lambert, Elektrokid, Dave McCullen and many more. As long as producing and composing appeals to Tim more than burning CD’s and spinning jog dial of the deck, he prefers performing live and tickles his Lemur in front of the audience. Some say that he was once operating it with his tongue when he got really drunk.

Tim Resler is the only person around the web who shares his Ableton projects with audience. Well, not actually “his”.. LOL! This man recreates world famous tracks using Ableton’s standard features and puts the files for free downloading for those who are interested in how music is being created. His projects were downloaded so many times that it’s no surprise when you see your 12 year old neighbor having Ghosts & Stuff by Deadmau5 opened in his Ableton Live.

As for Tim Resler himself – he has found his own sounding and now is deeply involved in music production and perfecting his Live performance.

    Hi! i wish if you could provide some video tutorials on using fruity loops 9 to rearrange or remix a song. The video tutorials on you tube are too technical. The manual provided is technical too.
